Parked at Keiloch (£3.50) for a circuit of 9 xMT's and HHB's on Ben Avon. 35km, 1400m ascent. An excellent day, Scotland at its best. 9/9. Visited both tors: GPS indicates Eastern one as the summit.PGCE11/08/2024
Circuit of approx 50km from Glen Avon car park near Tomintoul. Glen Avon track / road then continued along Glen Builg, crossing the burn and climbing Meall an t-Seangain. Continued to climb Carn Dearg (Carn Tiekeiver) and steady pull up to the Ben Avon plateau first climbing Meall an t-Seangain. Passed by Clach Choutsaich (looked too difficult in wind and mist), climbed Mullach Lochan nan Gabhar and Ben Avon North Tor. Bypassed Ben Avon summit and continued to Ben Avon West Top. Out to Carn Eas and climbed Ben Avon South Tor on the return. From here, traversed to West Meur Gorm Craig, East Meur Gorm Craig, East Meur Gorm Craig North Top, Clach Bhan and Meall Gaineimh. Descended to Glen Avon and return to start.RobertP21/06/2024
