From Durisdeer, after Well Hill and Penbane.Chris Peart13/12/2016
3rd hill of 10 today on an epic alternative Southern upland Way walk from Sanquhar to Moffat, climbing Dalpeddar hill and Cairn hill, descending steeply to cross Enterkiln burn, ascending Rashy hill, crossing Dalveen Lane via the branches of a tree to arrive at the foot of Black hill. I climbed over the fence to ascend the slopes in between Wee Cleuch and Big Cleugh. Very steep ascent that really tired me out. Eventually i gained the brow where a track makes for easier going and leads close to the summit. I was relieved to get to the trig. Very impressive terrain.Dazingdale02/05/2016
