Easy and obvious bag from the road. Not the most exciting hill but the wilderness views are nice enough. A massive 31m ascent from the road if you think you can handle it. First 5 hills on this bagging day. Afterwards we bagged High Greygrits, Hoove, Booze Moor and Calver Hill. Perfect walking weather; sunny with a strong breeze. | DanTrig | 29/07/2024 |
Moudy Mea - Black Scar -High Greygrits. 10.5 miles | Gary Heath | 30/06/2024 |
Nice quick one for Boo and I. Began to snow and the North Pennines as boggy as ever. Every third footstep you lose a foot in height | Alphaville199 | 26/03/2023 |

From SE, brief unexciting track walk, but the little rocky edge facing S is pleasant. (BM at start of path seems to have gone along with its garepost.) | RHW | 24/03/2019 |

Short easy walk from cattle grid. Single flat stone marks the top. | Aye Jimmy | 25/05/2013 |
It is worthwhile remembering that the legal line of the right of way enters the dip alongside the gate and follows the edge of the trees. Totally ignore this and follow the vehicular track which diverges to the right but is an easy walk to just north of the summit. | moorsman | 05/11/2012 |
Second of three 5's up here. From cattle grid a 10 min max stroll to a good viewpoint of Eden valley. Small rock o n grassy top. Mist swirling. New track going in who knows where below, farmers! | nordicstar | 16/07/2012 |
