2.9 mile out-and-back from Port Mooar Beach car park along the coast path the shapely little summit. 190m ascent. The sea was so rough today we retraced our steps as quick as we could back to the car as we thought the coast path might get cut off. 1st of 2 hills today. Afterwards we drove into Maughold village and bagged the neighbouring Maughold Brooghs in safer circumstances.DanTrig18/10/2023

Fine summit, coming along the cliff path from Maughold Broochs. Then a lighthouse to look forward to just along the roadColin Crawford06/09/2023
From delightful hidden ( mapped) carpark accessed via LH track ( turn L then L again) . Path cut through gorse from track to summit with small cairn. Stunning coastal and mountain views on clear sunny day. Onto tump to MW and Maughold LH.Denise 29/09/2022
Did a couple of non-Tump hills on the way here (Slieau Ree & Slieau Managh NE Top). Came through the church grounds after looking at the ancient stone crosses. A lovely summit - probably my favourite on the island! Great views. Solo.Dangerous Dave10/05/2022
From large grass car park to E of church (SC 4949 9172). Good stepped path, driven past ~100m before car park, leads up to small summit area with cairn. ***Re-visted 26 Sep 2022 with RHW to find the trig bolt.jonglew07/12/2021
From Maughold villageJK25/11/2021
Walk from Glen Mona via visits to Cashtel yn Ard and Ballafayle chambered tombs. It's a short but steep walk up from Maughold church, with unfolding views of North Barrule and the hills beyond. From here we walked westwards along the ridge before dropping down to Ramsey.thesweetcheat19/08/2019
Car park in the village. Lane to the left of the church. Grassy path to the top. Returned via the church, had a look inside.Owen B16/06/2019
Nearby CP entrance badly pot-holed. Better (and closer) parking on verge at SC 4948 9164 by FP sign. Good path to summit from SC 4950 9167carole engel05/09/2018
10th and penultimate tump of a 43km circular from Ballure, climbing North Barrule, Beinn Reinn, Claugh Ouyr, Slieau Managh, Snaefell, Slieau Lhean, Slieau Ouyr, Barony Hill and Ballajora Hill descending Nne to reach a lane and following this past Dreemskerry onto the A15, veering off on a track hostin the Coastal path onto the Northern edge of Port Mooar, following it all the way round till opposite Maughold Church. I had to be careful as the Parish was holding its Annual race, first the girls, then the boys and then the Adults. I managed to get to the top and even got some of my paperwork stamped by an official Maughold Parish stamp! My GPS recorded 116m @ the Cairn at SC 49611 91637. I continued on the coastal route heading for Maughold Brooghs...Dazingdale21/07/2018

Car parks just W and SSE of the hill. Ascended steeply with mae from SSE (ascent from W is easier). We were in process of 'discovering' this hill - thanks to Harvey Maps (latest OS 50K now up to date as well).jimbloomer15/04/2013
