From Glenridding car park, up Stang - From Stang, returned to Greenside Road, over footbridge at 374172 & up RoW to locked gate & stile at N. end of Lanty's Tarn - Over stile & up permissive path to summit outcrop. Good viewpoint with handy seat just below summit.gerrybowes05/09/2024

Plentiful free parking in Glenridding if you take the road signposted YHA after turning right towards the car park. Start off along the Helvellyn track, veering off towards Lanty's Tarn. From here is the only permitted access path. Under 1 hour return from the car.moorsman10/05/2018
