Via new hydro scheme track and stations of the cross. St. Joseph's Cell, near the cross, is an impressive construction, built a decade ago by a team which included a friendly local we encountered on our descent.sclater14/11/2020

With Ian S. Parked with permission at Craig Lodge. Northwards through trees to kissing-gate about 179280. The “Stations of the Cross” pilgrimage route goes uphill from here, with the 14 “stations” each marked with a whitish diamond-shaped plaque with rounded corners, entitled in French, attached to a cairn. Up the route to 15th cairn about 178286 enclosing wooden cross, with larger metal cross flat on ground but capable of being set upright. Then about 700 metres north-eastwards to summit across wet grass with occasional paths. Mostly cloudy with some rain and brief sunshine. Would be excellent viewpoint in good weather – Loch Awe, Beinn Laoigh, etc. Back down to cross, then pilgrimage route to Craig Lodge.mainnirnamfiadh26/10/2017
