From SE, Wester Street, old forest road boggy in places. Beyond, new forest road passes closer to summit than mapped; when due S of summit head N direct for summit, this avoids wind throw. On to Creagan MorRHW02/06/2024

If you like wet boggy ground and lots of wind blown trees, steep slopes and deep heather, then this summit and it's pal, Creagan Mor, are for you. Good parking to the west at Torranerrick leads on to an excellent forestry road which gives to a false sense of security. So far so good. Arriving at a point near a stone quarry, the summit is not far away, as the crow flies, but not as the bagger stumbles. Careful route finding in, out and over fallen trees leads eventually to a flattish summit at the top of a rocky escarpment. A slightly different route led back to the track. Over from Creagan Mor through well spaces trees. Nice craggy southern aspect to the summit area. Returned via a track that goes to a parking area close to Wester Street, a good access option.Adrian19/05/2022
1 of 3: Parked after Foxhole at the forest track entrance 528383. Track to P263 then up over a felled area and weaved through fallen trees to the top. With Karen.ChrisR21/02/2021
