Parked at the farm no entry signs and followed track round big house then up through field, a couple of metal gates and path through gorse to top. | NormanW | 01/06/2024 |
Parked NH 6059 4520 just before no parking sign. Right hand track to gate NH 6046 4515. Ahead to gate/fence line. Turn right up field to pedestrian gate at NH 6030 4524 where left to gate at NH 5995 4538 (single gate NOT double gate). Onto overgrown track, especially so when it veers left at NH 5982 4552 into bracken. Higher up it clears and leads all the way to the trig. | carole engel | 01/07/2023 |
Very easy from Kirkton farm | Andrew Simmons | 16/12/2022 |
As Willieross, nice lady at last bungalow offered us her drive to park across. As stated go round the front of the wee loch, not as we stupidly tried (round the back). Top a mess. | iangalbraith | 18/06/2022 |
Made heavy weather of getting up to the trig! More obvious route back. Parked near Kirkton Farm. | David Bremner | 13/02/2022 |
1 of 2: Parked at 607453 just before Kirkton Farm. Then as per willyross. NB at 59801 45526 take the left fork. TP at 59660 45398. Access through the gorse all cleared. Icy. 2 swans had kept a patch of the loch unfrozen. With Karen. | ChrisR | 02/01/2021 |
Starting at Kirkton farm / yard, walk on track towards loch, go into the sheep field through the gate before the loch and walk along until you find another gate, a big track takes you all the way to the trigpoint amidst the gorse. Decent views. | willyross | 29/04/2020 |

Here for the trigpoint. TP:UK log:

First birthday weekend trig in the bag, not the best route up and much easier down. If you go into the sheep field through the gate before the loch and walk along until you find another gate a big track takes you all the way to the trigpoint. | thejackrustles | 12/12/2015 |
